Ah, who doesn't love a birthday party and Warehouse were celebrating their 35th today with in-store parties. Champers and cupcakes were order of the day as well as 25% off of all purchases (oh, and that 25% off thing is still going on on the website so be sure to check out www.warehouse.co.uk quickly!). Also at the Argyll Street, ELLE's market and merchandising editor Bonnie Rahkit was on hand to dish out all of the latest trend tips and to guide shoppers to must have Warehouse items.
Personally, I was there for some knitwear (because, you know, it's cold outdoors) and some basics, so this is what I purchased:
This Fisherman Rib Cardi for £46 - Ideal for wrapping up warm in the winter. I love the black trim on the pockets as I think it has a great library geek chic feel to it.
This satin front tee for £20 - Beautiful colour and absolutely beautiful fit and feel when put on. I love the little pocket on the front too.
This bracelet, which I can't find on the website - ironic considering I'd been eyeing it up on the website for about a month beforehand. I just love the faux wooden look and it will go with so much of my wardrobe.
A pair of cream socks for a £5 because I'm love the socks-with-any-shoe trend that's going on at the moment so I thought I'd pick up another pair.
Other favourite pieces I spotted but, unfortunately, don't have the bank balance to buy (hey, I'm not sure I even have the bank balance to afford what I did buy!!):
The Luxe tuxedo blouse for £75 - I love the contrasting pussy bow feature. This blouse feels so Alexa Chung.
The Lace Front Peter Pan Top for £45 - This has such an intellectual feel to it. Just holing it made me feel like I made grades I didn't. However, I'd love to put it with a pair of leather city shorts.
The Mod Tweed Cardi for £45 - It's like a cozy rock chic look. I love the colour and the black trim.
Plus, for a spend of over £50, I got an all important goodie bag. My black canvas goodie bag contained:
- Label.M Blow Out Spray
- A copy of ELLE UK magazine (saving some magazine money this month - yay!)
- A semi-precious coral bracelet (so beautiful!)
- A Green and Blacks Almond mini chocolate bar - this got eaten very quickly
Also, I have to add that the staff at the Argyll Street store were absolutely lovely despite what must have been a slightly stressful evening (I did spot one flute of champagne hitting the floor!). So thank you for adding an extra smile to my face.
