Ok, so it's been a pretty active May - although this post begins with some photos taken at the end of April. Teaming up with a group of Britain's up-and-coming fashion designers, myself with Mercedes Molina on hair and make-up and the beautiful Mia P and Odette from Beau-Belle models headed to the streets of London to showcase some of their great clothes. Look below for what I think were the strongest pictures of the day! The designs below are by Harriet Blackwell and Kimberley Pattinson.
At the beginning of May, I had a great shoot with the very talent Haley Diston, Jason Smith and model Amanda Hall. The photos are still under wraps but just to say that Haley's work was amazing - for example, a dress made from old shoes! The mind boggles!
Within a week, I was covering LS for Life in association with the JCF. It was a fantastic night (and not just because of the really yummy cupcakes) - you can check out the pictures at http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.161216173941822.41400.152397464823693
Towards the end of May, I teamed up with Sinopa Rin again - organising a festival themed fashion shoot in around 36 hours! Although we did realise that neither one of us had ever been to a festival....hmmm....but here's my favourite shots:
Finally, I had a studio booked to do a beauty shoot with Louise Goodson as make-up artist but, alas, 36 hours beforehand, there was no model! Fortunately, we found the perfect-for-the-concept Beth Allan on Model Mayhem last minute who worked hard and really looked the part. The majority of the pictures are still under wraps but here's a taster:
Ok, that about wraps up May. June and July are likely to be a bit quieter as I have other commitments (e.g. really looking forward to running Race for Life in Watford with sister-in-law Claire) but hopefully will have some pretty pictures to show as well.
